Public Holidays: Summary Of Festivals
Makar Sankranti/Magh Bihu/Pongal will be celebrated on January 14, 2026.
Basant Panchami will be celebrated on January 23rd. Also, January 26th is a public holiday.
Guru Ravidas Jayanti is celebrated on February 1st, followed by Mahashivratri on February 15th, Swami Dayananda Saraswati Jayanti on February 12th, and Shivaji Jayanti on February 19th.
Next year, Holika Dahan will be held on March 2nd and Dhulandi on March 3rd.
This means that the holiday will occur on March 3rd. In addition, holidays are observed for Ramdev Jayanti and Teja Dashami on September 21st, Durgashtami on October 19th, Diwali on November 8th, and Govardhan Puja on November 9th.
