1. Labour Officer / Assistant Labour Officer

Recruitment is NOT direct by Labour Office. It is done via OPSC.

• Post Name as per Rules: Assistant Labour Officer (ALO) -> District Labour Officer (DLO) -> Divisional Labour Commissioner etc.
• Method: 90% of vacancies of Assistant Labour Officer by Direct Recruitment through Combined Competitive Recruitment Examination conducted by Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) under OCS Rules
• Qualification: Any Graduate + Computer knowledge
• Age: 21-38 yrs (relaxation for SC/ST/SEBC)

2. Supervisor / Rural Labour Inspector

This is the base cadre for promotion to ALO. Vacancies are filled by Labour Commissioner, Odisha and often advertised via OSSC / SSB Odisha.

Qualification is usually +2 / Graduate.

3. Clerk, Junior Stenographer, Peon / Group-C & D

These are District-level contractual posts under Labour Commissioner / Directorate of ESI Scheme.
