I have the honor  to inform you that, my daughter ……………… a student of Class-VIII in your school. She has been in your school from Class-VI and has a consistent good record of performance. In the half yearly examination she secured 67% marks on an average. Unfortunately last month she had an attack of malaria fever and could not appear in the Annual Examination. She had a very good preparation and I’m sure she would do well if she could sit for the examination. I would therefore, request you to promote her to Class-IX on the basis of her past performance and say, her from losing a valuable year of her career.
