About the Festival
Deva Snana Purnima is the first public appearance of the deities before Rath Yatra. On this day, Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra & Sudarshan are brought to the Snana Mandap and bathed with 108 pots of sacred water from the Suna Kua (Golden Well). After the bath, They give darshan in the beautiful Hati Besha/Gaja Besha.
