Raksa Bandhan is consist of two word that is “Raksa and Bandhan” that means “safety” and “bond”, The literal meaning of Raksha Bandhan is the bond of protection or care. Raksha Bandhan is other wise called brother -sister festival.On this day sisters of all ages tie amulet called rakhi, around the wrist of their brother.
