Global Entry Application
Global Entry Application
The application process involves several steps:
- Create a Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) Account: Visit the TTP website and create an individual account. Each applicant, regardless of age, must have their own TTP account.
- Complete the Application: After logging into your TTP account, fill out the Global Entry application form. This will require detailed personal information, including employment history and addresses for the past five years. A non-refundable fee of $120 is required upon submission.
- Conditional Approval: Once your application is reviewed, you will receive a message in your TTP account regarding your conditional approval status. If conditionally approved, you can proceed to schedule an interview.
- Schedule an Interview: Indian citizens can schedule their Global Entry interview at any designated Enrollment Center in the United States. Alternatively, CBP offers the Enrollment on Arrival (EoA) program, which allows conditionally approved applicants to complete their interview upon arrival at select U.S. airports. This can be a convenient option if you have upcoming travel plans to the U.S.
- Attend the Interview: During the interview, a CBP officer will verify your application details, take your fingerprints, and capture a photograph. You will need to bring your valid passport and one other form of identification, such as a driver’s license or ID card. If you are a lawful permanent resident, you must present your machine-readable permanent resident card.
Please note that processing times can vary. While some applications are approved within two weeks, others may take up to 12 months or longer. It’s advisable to apply well in advance of any planned travel to the United States.
