2. Eid Al Adha: May 25–29 for public sector, May 26–29 for private
- Public sector: Mon May 25 to Fri May 29. With weekends May 23–24 and May 30–31, that’s a 9-day break
- Private sector: Tue May 26 to Fri May 29. With Sat–Sun weekend, that’s a 6-day break
3. Islamic New Year: Jun 15
- Falls on a Monday, creating a 3-day weekend
4. Prophet’s Birthday: Aug 24

5. National Day: Dec 2–3

- Eid holidays are fixed: The UAE Public Holiday Law allows other holidays to shift to create long weekends, but Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha stay on their actual dates.
- Private vs Public sector: Government employees often get an extra day for Eid Al Adha.
- School holidays: UAE school breaks align with many of these dates, but check your emirate’s KHDA/ADEK calendar.
- Dates can change: Islamic holidays are tentative until moon sighting is confirmed.
