Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) are provided with a plastic card that contains a photo of the beneficiary along with a distinctive beneficiary ID number. This card is called the CGHS Card and needs to be displayed every time a beneficiary wishes to take advantage of the facilities under the CGHS scheme.
