How to Delete Page in Word

Method 1: Using the Backspace or Delete key

  1. Place your cursor at the end of the content on the page you want to delete.
  2. Press the Backspace key on your keyboard to delete the content and move the following text up to the current page. or Press the Delete key on your keyboard to delete the content and move the text from the next page to the current page.
  3. Repeat the above steps until the entire page is empty, and the content from the following pages has moved up.

Method 2: Using the Navigation Pane (for Word 2013 and later versions):

  1. Click on the “View” tab in the Word ribbon.
  2. In the “Views” group, check the “Navigation Pane” box to display the Navigation Pane on the left side of the window.
  3. In the Navigation Pane, click on the “Headings” tab.
  4. Locate the heading that represents the content on the page you want to delete.
  5. Right-click on the heading and select “Delete” from the context menu.
  6. The page containing the selected heading and its content will be deleted.

Method 3: Using the Page Break feature:

  1. Place your cursor at the end of the content on the page you want to delete.
  2. Go to the “Layout” tab in the Word ribbon.
  3. In the “Page Setup” group, click on the “Breaks” button.
  4. Select “Next Page” from the drop-down menu under the “Section Breaks” section.
  5. The content after the cursor will be moved to the next page.
  6. Repeat steps 1-5 until the entire page is empty.
  7. Save your document.

These methods should help you delete a page in Microsoft Word. Remember to double-check your document after deleting a page to ensure the formatting is as desired
