MOHAN’S FIRST TRAIN RIDE
After Mohan returned from his first train journey, his sister Sujata asked him all about it
Sujata : Hello Mohan! Welcome home. How was your first train journey?
Mohan : Thank you, Sujata. It was very exciting. I have so much to tell you.
Sujata : Where did you go?
Mohan : I went to Amritsar.
Sujata: Which class did you travel in?
Mohan: I travelled first class.
Sujata: Was the journey comfortable?
Mohan: Oh yes! It was a very comfortable journey.
Sujata : Where did you sit in the compartment?
Mohan : I had a window seat.
Sujata: By which train did you travel?
Mohan : I travelled by ‘Shan-e-Punjab’.
Sujata : Did the train stop at every station?
Mohan : No, it is a ‘Superfast Train’. It does not stop at every station.
Sujata: What did you see on the way?
Mohan : I saw green fields on both sides.
Sujata : How did you pass your time in the train?
Mohan : I read some magazines. But I spent a lot of time looking out of the window.
Sujata : How much time did the train take to reach Amritsar?
Mohan : It took about six hours.
