Upi Cash Withdrawal Sbi ATM

State Bank of India (SBI) supports UPI-based cardless cash withdrawal (also called UPI QR Cash or Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal – ICCW) at many of its ATMs. This feature lets you withdraw cash without a debit card by using any UPI app like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM

Steps to Withdraw Cash from SBI ATM Using UPI:

  1. Go to an SBI ATM that supports this feature (look for “UPI QR Cash” or “UPI Cash Withdrawal” option on the screen; not all ATMs have it yet, but it’s widely rolled out).
  2. On the ATM screen, select the UPI Cash Withdrawal (or UPI QR Cash) option.
  3. Enter the amount you want to withdraw (in multiples of ₹100, minimum ₹100).
  4. A dynamic/single-use QR code will appear on the ATM screen.
  5. Open your preferred UPI app on your phone, go to the scan/pay section, and scan the QR code displayed on the ATM.
  6. In the UPI app, confirm the amount and enter your UPI PIN to authorize the payment.
  7. Once the transaction is successful, the ATM will immediately dispense the cash.
  8. Collect your cash (and any receipt if printed).

The whole process is secure, as it’s a standard UPI transaction, and the ATM dispenses cash right after approval.

Key Limits (for SBI ATMs):

  • Maximum per transaction: Up to ₹10,000.
  • Daily limit: Up to ₹10,000 (maximum 2 transactions per day).
  • It follows your regular UPI transaction limits set by your bank/UPI app (often ₹1 lakh per day for most users, but cash withdrawal is capped at the above).

Important Notes:

  • This is free for SBI customers (no extra charges for the withdrawal itself, unlike some regular ATM fees).
  • It works even if your account is with another bank (as long as your bank supports UPI-ATM withdrawals).
  • If the option doesn’t appear on the ATM, that specific machine may not support it yet—try another SBI ATM.
  • In case of issues (e.g., amount debited but cash not dispensed), contact your bank or SBI customer care immediately, as reversals are usually quick for failed transactions.
  • This is different from YONO Cash (SBI’s own app-based feature that uses a reference number and PIN).

This facility is part of NPCI’s push for cardless banking and is live at SBI ATMs as of 2026
