Note: UN duty stations outside NY may have different holidays. For example, UN Economic Commission for Africa also lists Ethiopian Christmas, Ethiopian Good Friday, Mawlid, and Ethiopian New Year.
The UN also observes many international days throughout the year like UN Day on 24 Oct, World Health Day on 7 Apr, and World Food Day on 16 Oct, but these aren’t staff holidays.
